Gemotions

Liam was pacing the lobby of the grand hotel, thumbing through his phone when he heard it. The opening chords – his chords – of “Crimson Tide.” His own guitar work, but delivered now by a string quartet. He stopped dead. His jaw dropped. The music swelled, filling the air with a power he hadn't known it possessed. He took off at a run, shoving past a bewildered concierge, toward the ballroom. He had to *see* this. A wild feeling surged through him, making his skin prickle and his heart pound like a drum solo.
