"Oh, my word!" breathed Eleanor, her eyes wide as she unfolded the letter. A forgotten missive from her college days, it was a time capsule of her younger self. She almost bounced on the balls of her feet with sudden, unexpected energy.

The paper crackled as she held it close to her chest. She had been so full of…well, everything, back then. She’d written about the future, about love, about changing the world. She remembered the sheer thrill of it, of believing her voice mattered.
