Liam practically vibrated with anticipation. The envelope, sealed with crimson wax, felt heavy in his hands. He’d been thinking about the contents for weeks. His sister, Chloe, sat beside him, coolly examining her nails. They were at their late father’s old workshop. Liam felt a tickle in his stomach. Finally, he ripped it open, eager to know.

"To Liam," he read aloud, his voice thick with a thrill that sent warmth through his chest, "I leave my workshop, tools, and the unfinished prototype of the self-propelled scooter." Liam felt a grin split his face. The workshop! A place to tinker, to create! He was practically vibrating. This was what he needed.

Chloe sighed, pulling her own envelope from her pocket. "And to Chloe, my daughter, I leave the recipe book containing all my beloved recipes." Chloe's face lit up, a genuine smile spreading across her features.
