Gemotions

From the darkened corner of the small theatre, Finn observed his play unfolding on stage. The words, his words, spoken by actors, brought a lightness to him. He was supposed to be a nobody, an amateur playwright. Now, his story, his characters, were breathing, moving, captivating the audience.

He leaned forward in his seat, his eyes glued to the performers. The applause after each scene was like a shot of energy, electrifying him. He was practically vibrating with excitement. He had to resist the urge to jump up and down, to shout his appreciation.

A couple next to him leaned in close, excitedly discussing the plot twists. Finn couldn’t help but smile; the sheer audacity of it all was overwhelming.
