The doorbell chimed, a cheerful sound that bounced off the freshly painted walls of Maya’s apartment. A delivery man stood holding a vibrant bouquet of sunflowers, their faces turned towards the weak winter sun. "For you, ma'am!" he announced, his breath misting in the cold air. Maya practically leaped from the couch, practically vibrating with energy.

She accepted the flowers, her fingers brushing against the rough paper wrapping. No card. A thrill shot through her. Who could it be? And why? She inhaled deeply, the scent of the sunflowers filling her with a fizzy lightness. Maybe it was the start of something amazing.

Back inside, she spun around, the sunflowers a golden halo around her face. She immediately grabbed her phone, a grin plastered across her face, and snapped a picture. "New apartment, new flowers, new possibilities!" she exclaimed to herself, her voice bright and buoyant.
