"Oh, absolutely!" Sarah practically leaped from her porch swing, nearly tripping over the rose bushes. Her heart thumped a lively rhythm against her ribs. Mrs. Gable's request to use a strip of her sun-drenched lawn for a vegetable patch had her practically bouncing on the balls of her feet. The idea! She could picture it – Mrs. Gable's tomatoes, the vibrant green of lettuce, the cheerful orange of pumpkins. "That's a wonderful idea! I've always wanted more color in the backyard."

Her mind raced, already picturing the layout. She imagined herself helping Mrs. Gable, sharing gardening tips, and, most importantly, enjoying the bounty. She imagined the smell of fresh herbs and the satisfaction of knowing they were neighbors and had built something together. "We can get started right away! I have some tools you can borrow, and I'd love to help with the digging!"
