The coffee shop buzzed, a symphony of frothing machines and mumbled conversations. Amelia stared at the laptop screen, the bright light reflecting in her widened eyes. Her high school diary, her most embarrassing secrets, available for the world to see. It wasn't the humiliation that stung the most, though it did. It was the comments, the likes, the outpouring of digital affection for *her* – for the girl she had been, the girl who, apparently, was far more interesting than the woman she had become.
