Liam's stomach churned as he watched the likes and shares accumulate on his old, angsty poems. He used to dream of publication, but this… this wasn't what he'd imagined. His old friend, the one who’d gotten him into writing in the first place, was getting all the attention. Liam chewed the inside of his cheek, the taste of metal sharp on his tongue. He had spent years honing his craft, crafting serious pieces. His friend, meanwhile, had gotten famous for his juvenile angst. Liam angrily shut his computer and threw his pen across the room.
