“Wow,” Mark muttered under his breath, reading the article. His teenage diary, complete with embarrassing poetry and terrible drawings, had become a trending topic. A wave of heat washed over him as he read the praise for his 'unique perspective'. He, a man who worked tirelessly to be taken seriously. He had spent his adulthood working hard to build a good reputation, a calm demeanor. Now, some long-lost diary was overshadowing his life. He felt suddenly ill. He felt a need to vomit. He clutched his stomach, his face pale.
