He watched the cooking show, a bitter taste rising in his throat. "Chef Remy's Rustic Tomato Soup!" The recipe looked familiar. It was, almost exactly, his "Grandpa Joe's Tomato Bisque", which he had shared years ago with his friend, Remy.

He fiddled with the remote, the metal cold against his trembling fingers. He found himself wishing he could turn the show off, but he couldn't. He had to know. The show host was praising the soup, calling it "revolutionary".

He felt a sudden, inexplicable urge to throw something. He just stared at the screen, and the scene blurred with all the lights and action.
