He’d arrived early, pretending to inspect the property, a charade to mask his true motive. He wanted to be the last one to see his childhood home. To take one last look. His sister, bless her heart, had moved out and let the property go to ruin, the roof caving and the paint peeling. She couldn't handle the memories.
