The email pinged at the perfect moment. She was staring at her reflection in the bathroom mirror, about to head out for a boring work function. “Your friend, 'BookwormBelle,' now lives in your city!” the subject read. Sarah's shoulders relaxed, her tense posture melting away. She couldn't believe it. After years of online friendship, she could actually *meet* Belle.

Her reflection smiled back at her, a genuine smile she hadn't seen in a long time. She felt a lightness in her step, she was bouncing, and her eyes sparkled.
