When the confirmation email came, she could barely stand up, overcome by what she had created. But when she saw the online publication, her knees buckled. It wasn't her name on the screen. It was someone else. Disbelief threatened to swamp her. But a strange, powerful sensation filled her, a feeling like a thousand tiny fireworks were exploding inside her chest. A laugh erupted from her, followed by another, louder, more joyous. She threw her arms wide, breathing deep. She felt an overwhelming sense of lightness, a feeling of being untethered, ready to fly.
