Gemotions

The canvas was a riot of color, a testament to young Lily’s imagination. Her father, Michael, stood back, arms crossed, a silly grin plastered across his face. He'd taught Lily everything he knew about painting – the use of light and shadow, the importance of composition, the joy of simply letting the brush move across the canvas. Now, watching her create her own vibrant world, he found himself utterly captivated. His chest felt buoyant, filled with a sense of… exhilaration.

Lily, oblivious to his admiration, continued to work, her brow furrowed in concentration. She dipped her brush into a pot of crimson and, with a final flourish, added a splash of intense red to the swirling landscape. Michael was fairly bursting with pride.
