Gemotions

The damp chill of the basement did nothing to dampen her spirits. Sarah, sorting through boxes, unearthed a treasure: her grandmother's handwritten letter of resignation from her stifling marriage, a letter she had been longing to find her whole life. She was giddy with delight.

She read the words, the beautiful cursive almost singing. It was a secret language, just between them. Sarah felt a surge of energy, a need to move, to dance, to break free. She wanted to *live*.
