Gemotions

The coffee cup trembled slightly in Leo's hand as he entered the museum. A surge of almost electric energy coursed through him, making his vision sharper, the colors around him more vivid. He found the room housing the exhibition. His heart seemed to have sprouted wings, fluttering erratically inside his chest.

He spotted his installation, “Echoes in the Void,” and a grin stretched across his face, exposing his teeth in a wide smile. A group of students from the local art college huddled around it, enthusiastically discussing its themes. Leo leaned against a wall, a ridiculous smile plastered on his face, unable to stop a laugh from bubbling up.

"It's... incredible." He heard one of them say. He felt as though he could run a marathon. He wanted to shout, to sing, to do something… anything! The world felt newly-painted.
