Gemotions

The weight of the list was a delightful burden in my hands. The paper felt like a treasure map, each item a hidden gem waiting to be unearthed. I couldn’t stop smiling. The scent of lavender from the potpourri on the shelf seemed to intensify, making the air feel even more sweet and rich. This was going to be better than I could have imagined.

*Write a novel*. She, quiet and reserved by nature, held the most amazing stories inside of her. I already felt a surge of pride. This was her chance. *Learn to play the piano*. Suddenly I felt like I could learn the piano as well. I would do whatever it took to make all of these things happen.

The world seemed brighter, the colors more vivid. I looked around the room, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
