He slammed the door of his apartment, the force of it rattling the pictures on the wall. He needed to find a place. This condo thing was the worst news he'd heard.

He marched to the window, staring out at the street below. He felt a deep, uncomfortable pressure in his chest. Finding a new apartment felt like climbing Everest.

He turned from the window and collapsed onto the sofa. The worn cushions offered no comfort. He just wanted things to go back to how they were. It was as if everything had been turned upside down.
