He folded the notice into a tight, frustrated ball. His hands trembled slightly. The audacity of it! His apartment building was converting. The thought of the open house, the endless stream of strangers traipsing through his space, infuriated him.

He slammed his fist on the counter. His head throbbed. He’d always prided himself on his ability to find a bargain. Now he had to move, and he had no idea where to start.
