A small, velvet box arrived in the morning mail. Amelia tore it open the moment she had a moment to herself, her hands shaking a little. Inside, nestled on a bed of satin, was a delicate silver bracelet. Engraved on the clasp was a single word: "Inspire." Her breath hitched. It was from Liam, a student from five years ago. He'd been such a quiet boy, always sketching in the back of the classroom. A smile stretched across her face.

Amelia clutched the bracelet, her heart doing a quick little dance. She remembered his shy smile, the way he'd light up when she'd praised his artwork. She immediately fumbled with the clasp, attempting to put it on. She was going to wear it every day.
