Gemotions

The delivery man handed him the sunflowers, their sunny faces turned towards him. No card was attached. A rush of sensation went through him, like a jolt of electricity. He gripped the flowers tightly.

He practically skipped inside, placing the sunflowers on the kitchen table, their brilliance chasing away the shadows. He started humming and opening all the windows. He began moving around the house, trying to accomplish everything at once.

He started grinning, a look of pure bliss washing over him. He felt an urge to call everyone he knew, to share this feeling. He felt a sense of anticipation bubbling up inside of him, a mixture of suspense and joy. He decided to go for a run.
