Gemotions

A flush crept up Liam's neck. He'd stumbled upon it by accident, the password he'd tried a whim. He'd never expected to find a manuscript, let alone one about him. He paced the small apartment, his hands clasped behind his back, a spring in his step.

The words unfolded, detailing his morning routine, his love for old sci-fi films, his tendency to hum when concentrating. He stopped, rereading a passage about his awkward attempts at dancing. A genuine laugh, loud and unrestrained, escaped him.

He pictured Sarah's face when she eventually discovered this. He felt a need to see her immediately, to hear her voice, to simply *be* around her. He resisted the urge to call her, choosing instead to reread another chapter.
