Gemotions

The rain hammered against the windows, but inside, the air crackled with excitement. Michael couldn't stop bouncing on the balls of his feet. He felt a light, airy sensation, like he could float away at any moment. His sister had sent him pictures of Lily's drawings, and there he was, the old, familiar face of Captain Calico, a pirate cat with a missing eye.
