Gemotions

The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the small apartment, but it was nothing compared to the warmth bubbling inside Daniel. He'd just gotten a video call from his sister. Lily, his niece, was drawing! And among the crayon scribbles, he saw *him*. The Green Glob, a jolly, amorphous blob he had named in his youth. Daniel let out a whoop of laughter so powerful that it echoed through the rooms.

He grabbed a sticky note and a pen, and scribbled all over it, quickly and without thinking. He couldn't stop moving, he started pacing, grabbing every possible color crayon and started drawing. He started giggling uncontrollably. He felt like he could run a marathon. He started shouting to the sky, and felt an amazing weight lift. "Yes!" he shouted, throwing his hands up in the air.
