Rain lashed against the windows, but inside Amelia's apartment, a fire crackled merrily in the fireplace. A wide smile stretched across her face. This was absurd, incredible. She began to read, her laughter echoing in the now cozy room. The way the writer portrayed her quirks felt right; as if they knew her even better than herself. She felt a lightness and a zing, a vibrant current, coursing through her.
