Gemotions

The concert was over, and Finn's ears were still ringing with the glorious sound of the music. The energy of the crowd, the shared experience, had left him feeling light and giddy. He was soaring, floating, buoyed up by the sheer joy of it all. He practically skipped back to his apartment, the city lights twinkling like stars.

At the entrance to his building, a small pile of mail lay on the floor. Among the bills and flyers, a padded envelope caught his eye. He tore it open. It contained a book. His name was printed on the cover, along with a title he didn’t recognize.

He sat down on the steps, his heart quickening. He flipped through the pages, a mix of curiosity and bewilderment bubbling inside him. It detailed his life, his work, his passions. It was incredibly well-written, with details he barely remembered. He was awash with a curious sense of excitement. This was… fantastic.
