"Woo-hoo!" Maya hollered, tossing her car keys onto the kitchen counter. Her dad looked up from his newspaper, a slight frown creasing his brow. "Everything alright, honey?" he asked.

"Better than alright, Dad! Way better!" She grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl, took a huge bite, and practically vibrated with energy. The sudden change of scenery and being back home was like a shot of pure sunshine.

She spent the next hour reorganizing the pantry, humming off-key. Every item, from the crackers to the cans of soup, was carefully arranged. This arrangement, she thought, would begin the new chapter right. The simple act of creating order filled her with an incredible sense of well-being.
