Eliza spun around her apartment, a giggle escaping her lips. She'd just finished a difficult project, and the relief was intoxicating. She practically floated to the door to collect the mail, and there, a small package, destined for "Mr. Harrison Gray."

She chuckled to herself. This would be a welcome interruption from her new quiet routine. She brought it inside, her feet barely touching the floor.

A single pen was all that was in the box. It was a fountain pen, ornate and beautiful. She picked it up, and smiled. She would make good use of it.
