The steel doors slammed shut with a clang, and David immediately felt the familiar claustrophobia creep in. But not today. Today, the world was a bouncy castle, and he was ready to leap. "Whoa! This is unexpected!" he declared, grinning at Emily, the marketing director who he'd been trying to impress.

His heart thrummed, a happy drumbeat against his ribs. He imagined himself as an adventurer facing an uncharted territory. "Guess we're getting to know each other better now, huh?" He couldn't stop the grin that stretched across his face, or the urge to pace, barely contained within the small space.

“Well, this calls for a celebratory dance!” David announced, attempting a silly jig, nearly bumping into Emily. The thought of this was making him laugh.
