A strange lightness filled Amelia's chest as she walked across campus, the notification about Professor Davies’ departure still fresh in her mind. Her feet seemed to barely touch the ground. The late afternoon sunlight painted the brick buildings in warm hues, and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the ancient oak trees lining the path.
