"Eureka!" Sarah shouted, startling a flock of pigeons in the park. She'd been meticulously following a series of cryptic riddles left by her younger self. She bent down, brushing away the last of the dirt from the buried box. A thrilling sense of triumph coursed through her.

The lid popped open with a satisfying *thunk*. Inside, nestled amongst tissue paper, was a collection of bizarre artifacts: a glittery unicorn figurine, a half-eaten bag of candy, and a journal. She picked up the journal, flipping it open. Her heart soared.

It was filled with stories and doodles, all in her childish handwriting. She began to read, a wide grin spreading across her face. Each page sparked a memory, a feeling, a moment in time she'd long forgotten. It was like a treasure hunt with herself as the prize.
