Gemotions

A wave of warmth washed over Leo as he surveyed his perfectly manicured lawn. The rhythmic tick of the sprinkler, the scent of fresh-cut grass… all of it filled him with a potent sense of well-being. He was whistling as Mrs. Rodriguez approached.

"Leo, dear," she began, her voice hesitant. "I was wondering, if you'd be amenable, would it be possible to… utilize a section of your yard for a community garden?"

Leo’s eyes sparkled. He felt like he could run a marathon, just then. “Absolutely! Anything! Whatever you need! I'll even help you till the soil!” He clapped his hands together, the sound echoing in the crisp morning air.
