“Condo conversion? YES!” Maya yelled, startling the cat, who promptly jumped off the couch. She felt as though the entire apartment had become a bouncy castle. She threw open the windows, inhaling deep breaths of the city air.

She bounced on the balls of her feet, her imagination racing. She pictured sleek hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, and a rooftop deck for sunset cocktails. Her hands flew through the air, drawing invisible blueprints. The possibilities seemed endless.

She turned on the music, loud, and began to dance, completely forgetting the laundry that needed doing. This was the start of something awesome.
