Gemotions

He stared at the words, the print blurring into an indecipherable mess. A buzzing sound filled his ears, drowning out the world. His muscles tensed, his jaw clenched, and his fists balled so tight that his nails bit into his palms. His world had shrunk to the size of his tiny bedroom.

He rose suddenly, knocking over his chair. He paced back and forth, muttering to himself, a frantic energy coursing through him. He felt as if he could explode. He had to do something, anything, to escape the suffocating reality of the rejection.
