"Are you absolutely certain?" Sarah asked, her voice tight, barely above a whisper. The nurse, a young woman with a nametag askew, nodded apologetically. Sarah stared at the form in her hand, the list of medications listed, none of which she recognized. It was a medication list for a man named Arthur, with a medical history she knew nothing about. She ran a hand through her hair, which felt suddenly heavy, like a lead weight. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic drumbeat against the silence. It was all a mistake, a ridiculous, awful mistake. She just wanted to go home and lie down.
