The champagne flute in Amelia's hand felt delicate, cool against her palm. She laughed, a genuine sound, at something her current boyfriend, Daniel, had whispered in her ear. He squeezed her hand, his eyes crinkling at the corners. The wedding venue was gorgeous, a sprawling estate bathed in the golden light of the late afternoon. Butterflies danced in her stomach, not the nervous kind, but the excited, anticipatory ones. That was, until she saw him. Across the crowded dance floor, bathed in the same warm light, stood Liam.
