The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, mingling with the scent of pine needles, filled Eleanor's cozy cabin. Sunlight streamed through the window, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. She hummed a tuneless melody as she arranged a vase of wildflowers, a small smile playing on her lips. Last night with Alex had been magical, like a scene straight out of her favorite romance novel. She felt a warmth spreading through her chest, a lightness that made her want to leap and twirl. This weekend away was exactly what she needed.

Later, at the local farmer's market, she spotted a woman admiring the same heirloom tomatoes she was considering. "Those are gorgeous, aren't they?" Eleanor remarked, her voice bright. The woman turned, a polite smile on her face. "They are! I'm making a special salad tonight. Date night." Eleanor felt a flicker of something she couldn't quite place, but dismissed it.
