The gentle sway of the hammock, the rustling leaves of the palm trees above – these were the sounds of paradise. Isabella felt a sense of profound serenity, her thoughts drifting to the evening before spent with Julian. They had stargazed and shared stories, and her heart felt full. She luxuriated in the warm, mellow feeling.

She strolled along the beach, feeling relaxed. She spotted Julian with a woman, and the woman had her arm laced through Julian’s. He looked up at her, a look of confusion on his face.

“Isabella?” Julian said. The woman, whose name she didn't know, looked up, her smile softening. "Honey, you're not going to believe this."
