"This is good, isn't it?" Alex said, his voice husky with emotion. His sister nodded, her eyes glistening. They were in the dining room, surrounded by unpacked boxes and furniture covered in dust sheets. The task of sorting through their grandmother's belongings felt immense, but they had agreed to share it, a tangible act of love. He looked at his sister, felt a wave of comfort that was as warm as the setting sun. He looked around the room, feeling as though he was on a cloud. He knew, despite the work that was still to come, that they were doing the right thing, and that this house would be a lasting memorial.
