The crisp autumn air nipped at Amelia’s cheeks as she walked through the park, her dog, Winston, bounding happily ahead. The leaves were ablaze with color, a vibrant tapestry of red, orange, and yellow. She had just finished a strenuous yoga session and was walking Winston to the local market for a treat. She felt completely present, completely grounded in the moment. A brown package, addressed to "Ms. Claire Beaumont, Apartment 10," lay forgotten on her doorstep. It would remain there until she came back.

Winston, a golden retriever, stopped suddenly, sniffing the air. Amelia watched him, smiling.

They arrived at the market, and Winston sat patiently as she ordered a gourmet dog biscuit. She thought about her new job and her small apartment, both bringing her an inner peace. Life felt good. Her hand instinctively reached to pet Winston.

"One biscuit coming up!" the shopkeeper called.
