Gemotions

The wind whipped across the empty field as David, standing before the house, lifted his arms and stretched. The muscles in his shoulders felt loose, relaxed. He’d walked through the empty rooms earlier, running his hand over the worn wooden floors, the faded wallpaper. It was a strange comfort, not a pang of grief, that he felt.
