The concert had ended, the applause echoing in the cavernous hall. Elara stood backstage, the sweat of performance still clinging to her skin. Her fingers still itched to play. She was buzzing. The flowers were there, a magnificent arrangement of orchids and hydrangeas. No name, as usual. She didn't dwell on it.

She wrapped her arms around herself, savoring the adrenaline. The music still thrummed in her veins, a vibrant pulse of creation. She had poured her heart into the performance, and the response had been electric. She felt as though she could do anything, and there was a delicious ache in her muscles.
