The comments. The likes. The shares. Each notification was a fresh stab wound. She slumped against the kitchen counter, the cold granite doing nothing to soothe the burning in her chest. She had trusted that diary. That voice. That moment.

She swept a collection of mugs off the counter, the crashing sound barely registering. The clatter seemed to feed the anger, each shattered fragment a mirror to her broken privacy. The sunlight seemed to pierce her eyes.

She stared at the shattered pieces, a chaotic reflection of her own internal turmoil. She wanted to obliterate the source, to bury it, to make it all disappear. This was not okay.

The air felt thin, like she could no longer breathe. She struggled to keep herself together.
