Gemotions

He stared at the screen, his breath catching in his throat. It felt like someone had punched him in the gut. His face went white. He clicked through the hateful comments. His secrets were out there. They were not his anymore.

He tore at his hair, the gesture a raw expression of his inner turmoil. He paced the length of his tiny apartment, kicking at a stray shoe. He wanted to destroy everything, to make the world as bleak and empty as he felt.

He started to hit his chest, a frantic pounding against his own ribs. The physical pain was a weak echo of the emotional agony consuming him. He had to stop this. He had to make it stop.

The walls seemed to be closing in, suffocating him with their silent judgement.
