Gemotions

The air crackled with a silent outrage. The latest complaint, slipped under her door, accused her of creating a "disturbance". It was a single, curt sentence, signed by the landlord. She felt her face burn.

She snatched the letter from the floor, her movements jerky. She ripped it in half, then tore the pieces into smaller and smaller shreds.

She slammed her fist on the table, the force rattling the dishes. She wanted to destroy something. The injustice of it all, that this was how she was being treated. It was too much.
