Gemotions

The elevator doors chimed open on the sixth floor, and the lilting melody of "Ephemeral Dreams" reached Clara's ears. It was a tune she had written years ago, a piece she thought had vanished into the ether. She hesitated, a wave of warmth washing over her.

She stepped out of the elevator and saw a small group of musicians preparing for a performance. One of them, a young woman with fiery red hair, was tuning a cello. When the music started, Clara closed her eyes, letting the melody wash over her. She would have to find the red-haired woman and thank her.
