Gemotions

Liam was washing dishes at the local pub, the smell of stale beer and fried food a familiar shroud. He was lost in his own thoughts when the band started up. Then, the singer began to sing "Crimson Sky." He paused, his hands still submerged in the soapy water.

The song was his. He remembered the raw emotion he'd put into the song, the late nights. He felt a swelling sensation in his chest. He dried his hands on his apron and quietly moved to a corner of the pub to listen. He could barely contain himself.
