He found the listing late one night, a cascade of images flooding his screen. The house. His house. He'd moved away years ago, chasing a different life. Now, seeing it again felt like a reunion. He leaned back in his chair, a soft sigh escaping him.

The living room, the kitchen, his old bedroom – each picture triggered a rush of remembrance. He chuckled, remembering the time he accidentally set the curtains on fire. The memories were a comfort, a soothing balm to the stresses of his current life.

He decided to go visit the next day, and brought with him a box of old photos to share with the realtor. He felt compelled to walk the grounds one last time, to touch the weathered wood of the fence that had once been his. A feeling of content bubbled inside of him as he remembered all of the good times he'd had there.
