Gemotions

The attic was a labyrinth of shadows and forgotten things. The current owner, Sophia, felt a wave of discomfort as she surveyed the scene. It seemed unfair, to intrude on the past in this way.

She stumbled upon a collection of journals, bound in leather, their pages filled with a flowing, elegant script. She hesitated, knowing it was wrong, but then she opened the first one.

The words spoke of dreams and disappointments, love and loss. She became absorbed in the story, but with each entry, a sense of unease grew. She felt utterly exposed and caught in a web she hadn't chosen.
