Gemotions

The world felt bright and vibrant. Sarah, bouncing on her toes, reread the email from the homeowners association. Fence installation approved! This was going to be marvelous. She could finally plant her prize-winning rose bushes without worrying about the neighborhood kids trampling them.

A giggle escaped her lips as she envisioned the colorful blooms cascading over the new fence. She wanted to tell someone immediately! She had already planned the entire redesign of her backyard, complete with a cozy seating area and a small fountain.

She found her husband outside, tending to the lawn. Her voice was giddy when she announced the news, "Honey, it's official! We're finally getting that fence!" His answering smile only amplified her good mood. She felt like she could fly.
